We've been having a fantastic weekend here. Barbecue, World Cup, Super Moon, gardening, and lots of catching up on our sleep! There was also a bit of photography here and there, so I thought I'd share one of my ongoing projects with you today.

I am a big fan of creating personal photography projects and challenges to keep the creative gears oiled up and moving smoothly. Recently, I have been using my backyard as subject matter. I like it because it's relatively simple to get there and the natural light varies marvelously from day to day. The small size of the space forces me to work harder to create images that are innovative and more than the sum of their parts. Here are some of the resulting shots. I hope you enjoy them.
